Standards Database for Hydrogen Technologies

Please find the German webpage here.

The Standards Database for Hydrogen Technologies contains information on technical rules for hydrogen technologies that are already applicable. It is based on the results of the working group and committee meetings that were held in the context of the Standardization Roadmap for Hydrogen Technologies. For this purpose, the national, European and international technical rules were examined and evaluated for relevant standards and documents of technical rule-setting bodies. There is no claim to completeness of the technical rules listed in the directory. The directory was created in July 2023. The entries are updated in mid-September 2024.

Further information can be found on the project website of the Standardization Roadmap for Hydrogen Technologies

A list of national, European and international regulations, laws and agreements for hydrogen technologies can be found in the RCS database of NOW GmbH. Notes on searching the database:

When conducting searches with search terms, the title and short description of the documents are searched. The search offers two options:

  • The standard search returns results in which the search term is contained, also for combinations of words, e.g., a search for „line“ also returns „lines”, “line structure”, “transport lines”.
  • An „exact search“ only returns results that contain the exact word without word combinations, e.g., a search for „line“ will only return results containing the word “line” specifically.
