This DIN SPEC has been prepared by a workshop (temporary committee) in the course of the PAS procedure. Preparation and adoption of this DIN SPEC has been carried out by the authors specified in the foreword. This DIN SPEC specifies the requirements to be met by barbecue briquettes made from high-purity carbon concentrate that are used for food preparation and defines criteria for smokeless combustion and a prolonged burn period.
