DIN Standards Committee Textiles and Textile Machinery

Overview

This International Standard establishes a vocabulary of terms related to, and the principles of construction of, draw frames and their components, used for cotton spinning. In addition to terms used in the official ISO language English, this document gives the equivalent terms in German. These are published under the responsibility of the member body for Germany (DIN). However, only the terms and definitions given in the official language can be considered as ISO terms and definitions. This standard differs from DIN ISO 21485:2007-05 as follows: ISO 21485 has been adopted, translations have been aligned accordingly; editorial modifications. The International Standard is a generic standard for cotton spinning and facilitates understanding concerning the terms and definitions used. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 106-02-10 AA "Spulerei, Spinnereimaschinen und Nonwoven; SpA zu ISO/TC 72/SC 1 und ISO/TC 72/SC 3" ("Spinning and winding machinery and nonwoven; German mirror Committee of ISO/TC 72/SC 1 and ISO/TC 72/SC 3") at DIN.
