Overview

This standard applies to the selection of single-phase plug connectors and plug connections for 230 V nominal voltage in power supply systems for scenic lighting systems for professional use in fixed and mobile event and production facilities. The aim of the standard is to describe plug connectors and plug connections and the requirements for their compatibility and usability, as well as necessary safety requirements. This standard has been prepared at DIN Standards Committee the Entertainment Technology, Photography and Cinematography (NVBF), Working Committee NA 149-00-04 AA "Licht- und Energieverteilungssysteme" ("Lighting and Power Distributions Systems").
