DIN Standards Committee Shipbuilding and Marine Technology

Overview

This standard applies to hose fittings used for the manufacture of hose assemblies with hoses according to VG 95919-1 (Hoses and hose assemblies for potable and fresh water - Part 1: Generic standard; Text German and English), VG 95955-1 (Hoses for fuelling and pipelines - Part 1: Generic standard; Text in German and English) and VG 95955-3 (Hoses for fueling and pipelines - Part 3: Suction and discharge hoses with steel helix type S, PN 10; Text in German and English) for installations in the Bundeswehr (German armed forces). This standard documents the forms V, with male thread, and form M, with female thread, including dimensions, masses and materials. This standard does not apply to hose fittings designed for use in aircraft and flying devices. This standard has been prepared by DIN Standards Committee Shipbuilding and Marine Technology (NSMT), Working Committee NA 132-02-07 AA "Betankungs- und Pipelineschläuche" ("Tubes for refuelling and pipelines").
