Overview
This standard applies to flanges used in exhaust gas lines of internal combustion engines and steam boilers on ships and specifies the dimensions of permissible materials and types of design. A distinction is made between a heavy and a light design. In this standard specifications have been made for the light design. The responsible committee for this standard is NA 132-02-05 AA "Rohre und Rohrverbindungen" ("Piping systems and connections") at DIN.
