DIN Standards Committee Shipbuilding and Marine Technology

Overview

This standard applies to end links for stud link anchor chain cables, grade K4 which are components of three link adapter pieces as specified in DIN 81854. Compared to DIN 81850:2007-12, for example, some values in Table 1 have been changed. This standard describes the dimensions, masses, materials and test and breaking forces for end links for stud link anchor chain cables of grade K4. This standard has been prepared at DIN Standards Committee Shipbuilding and Marine Technology (NSMT), NA 132-01-05 AA "Heben, Schleppen, Ankern" ("Heaving, towing, anchoring") together with DIN Standards Committee Round Steel Link Chains (NRK).
