Overview
This standard describes strainer baskets for coarse filters according to DIN 87151 which are preferably installed in the suction lines of the cooling water and bilge systems on watercraft in order to filter out coarse impurities from the water which can impair the function of the system or lead to damage. The designs, individual parts, dimensions and materials are specified.
