Overview
This standard specifies requirements for the manufacture of end splices (soft eye, thimbled eye) and connection splices (short splice, long splice) on spliceable fibre ropes in twisted rope construction and rope construction square plait as well as push-in splice for braided ropes. Not all rope constructions are spliceable. This standard contains safety-related specifications.
