DIN Standards Committee Shipbuilding and Marine Technology

Overview

Drain pots with strainer cover and suction strainers in accordance with this standard are intended for drainage of decks in small rooms, such as forepeak storage spaces, steering gear compartment, auxiliary diesel compartment, boiler deck. It is intended for collection of dripping and leaking water and for the protection of suction lines and bilge pumps from coarse impurities.
