Overview
The VG standard documents swivel shackles made of non-magnetizable steel which are primarily used on vessels. The document specifies the designation, dimensions, masses, materials as well as the requirements and designs indicating the mechanical properties for non-magnetizable swivel shackles with nominal sizes of 0,6 to 3 and the Types A or B. Swivel shackles according to this standard require approval according to VG 95211.
