Abstract
This standard applies to all ship doors and ship hatches on surfaces vessels and floating facilities of the german marine. It does not apply to: Doors and hatches on submarines, doors (e. g. cabin doors) in paritition walls of shipbuilding facilities (see VG 85102), doors and hatches leading to shielded rooms, loading hatches and erection holes and bulkhead sliding doors.
