Packing system for cables and for pipes penetrating divisions - Part 3: Frames, detail standard; Amendment A1; Text in German and English
Abstract
This document is applicable in connection with VG 88717-2 to the packing frames of the modular packing system used in shipbuilding to create penetrations for cables and for pipes. The structure of the ship is fitted with openings in places where pipes or cables are to be fed-through. The packing frames are fitted into these openings, and together with the packing system components they serve as a sealing means and adapter for the fed-through pipes or cables. Such packing frames are hereinafter referred to as "frames".
