Take the S1 S-Bahn (city-rail) towards Wedel, get off at Berliner Tor (22 min). From there it is an approx. 10-minute walk. Exit the station at “Heidenkampsweg”, turn right and follow the street (Heidenkampsweg) crossing the junctions of Spaldingstraße and Nordkanalstr., turn right into Gotenstr. and turn left into Frankenstr. after a few metres. The building Frankenstr. 18 is situated just behind the curve on the left-hand side of the street. The office of NSMT im DIN is located on the 2nd floor and can be reached via the courtyard, entrance “Ost”/18 B.

Alternatively, take the S1 S-Bahn (cityrail) towards Wedel and get off at Hauptbahnhof. Then change and take the S3 or S31 towards Stade/Neugraben/Harburg Rathaus and get off at Hammerbrook (City-Süd) (32 minutes). From there it is an approx. 5-minute walk. From the north (A7): Coming from the A7, take the no. 26 “Stellingen” exit, continue on Kieler Str. (B4), turn left into Stresemannstr. (B4) and follow the B4 towards Centrum/Elbbrücken (Neuer Pferdemarkt, Budapester Str., Ludwig-Erhard-Str., Willy-Brandt-Straße) until Deichtortunnel. Choose the right-hand lane in the tunnel and drive over the bridge (Nordkanalbrücke) onto Nordkanalstr. when you leave the tunnel. Turn right at the 2nd traffic lights into Hammerbrookstr. and take the 3rd street on your left, Frankenstr. The building Frankenstr. 18 is situated on the right-hand side of the street, just before the curve. From the east (A24): Coming from the A24 take the 2nd exit, “Sievekingsallee”, at the roundabout “Horner Kreisel”. Continue towards Centrum/Elbbrücken: Sievekingsallee, Bürgerweide, Berliner Tor, Heidenkampsweg. Leave Heidenkampsweg turning right into Gotenstr. and turn left into Frankenstr. after a few metres. From the south (A1): Coming from the A1, choose the left-hand lane at the Hamburg-Süd motorway-interchange and follow the signs to HH Centrum (255/B4/B75). After crossing the big bridges over the river Elbe (Elbbrücken), head for “Centrum”, choosing the lefthand lane and turn left into Amsinckstr. (B4), turn right into Süderstr. at the next traffic lights after the Jet petrol station, turn left into Hammerbrookstr. at the next traffic light and continue until the footbridge crosses the street. Following that, turn right into Frankenstr. The building Frankenstr. 18 is situated on the right-hand side of the street, just before the curve. There are only a limited number of parking spaces available for guests of NSMT in the courtyard and basement garage at Franken str. 18. On the street itself and in the surrounding area, parking is only permitted for a short time and you need to get a “Pay & Display” ticket from the machine. Public car parks (subject to charge) can be found at:

• “Neues Steintor” car park, Hammerbrookstr. 1 (EUR 10 for 24 h, EUR 5 for up to 5 ½ h). Approx. 10 minutes’ walking distance.
• “ZOB” car park, Nagelsweg 78, access via Adenauerallee. Walk to “Hauptbahnhof” and continue by S-Bahn.
