DIN Standards Committee Personal Protective Equipment

Overview

This standard specifies the functional, safety requirements and test methods for pole vault facilities. This standard applies to two classes that are used in two types. It does not apply to run-up zones. This standard does not apply to construction covers of pole vault mats. For the specific requirements of international official competitions see the relevant guidelines of the International Association of Athletics Federations IAAF. The committee responsible for this standard is Working Committee NA 112-01-01 AA "Leichtathletikgeräte" ("Athletic equipment") at DIN.
