This document concerns outer garments, under garments, socks, gloves and balaclava. Shoes and helmets are excluded. NOTE: The intent of this is to provide a standard for drivers of automobiles that do not fall within the scope of the FIA. The intent is to provide a similar level of protection as FIA 8856
