Physical-technological test methods for paper and board
The joint working group NA 074-02-03 AA, "Physical- technological test methods for paper and board" is responsible for the elaboration of test standards for the following material characeristics:
- sampling and main characteristics of solid and corrugated fibre board, i. e. separation of component fibre board, testing of stickies;
- sampling and main characteristics of paper, i. e. grammage, thickness, dimensional stability;
- testing of fluting corrugated medium, i. e. flat crush resistance and laboratory fluting;
- testing of corrugated medium, i. e. ring crush method and short span test;
- deformation based on physical influences on paper and board;
- surface characteristics;
- reaction against over liquids;
- testing of cores;
- characterisation of technological wet ball burst strength, puncture test, edga crush resistance;
- creasing tests on board;
- testing of bending stiffness of corrugated fibre board;
- testing of the water resistance of glue bond of corrugated fibre board.
The working group NA 074-02-03 AA is the national mirror committee of:
- ISO/TC 6 Sub Committee 2: "Test methods and quality specifications for paper and board" as well as its nineteen working groups;
