Overview
This International Standard specifies the concept of production assurance within the systems and operations associated with exploration drilling, exploitation, processing and transport of petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas resources. This International Standard covers upstream (including subsea), midstream and downstream facilities and activities. It focuses on production assurance of oil and gas production, processing and associated activities and covers analysis of reliability and maintenance of the components. This document has been prepared by ISO/TC 67/WG 4 "Reliability Engineering and technology". The responsible German Committee is NA 109-00-01 AA "Materialien, Ausrüstungen und Offshore-Bauwerke für die Erdöl-, petrochemische und Erdgasindustrie - Spiegelausschuss zu CEN/TC 12 und ISO/TC 67" ("Materials, equipment and offshore structures for petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries - Mirror Committee of CEN/TC 12 and ISO/TC 67") at DIN.
