This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 062-06-34 AA "Anforderungen an Heizöle und Schifffahrtsbrennstoffe" ("Requirements for fuel oils and marine fuels") of the Petroleum, Fuels, Lubricants and Related Products Standardization Committee (FAM) at DIN Standards Committee Materials Testing (NMP). This document specifies the minimum requirements including test methods for SA-LW (Low Wear) fuel oil with low aluminum and silicon content.
