This document has been prepared by Working Group "Shearografie" ("Shearography") of Working Committee NA 062-08-20 AA "Zerstörungsfreie Prüfung; Obleuteausschuss" ("Non-destructive testing; Advisory group") at DIN Standards Committee Materials Testing (NMP). DIN 54180 "Non-destructive testing - Shearography" consists of: Part 1: General principles and Part 2: Test equipment. This document describes the general characteristics of the equipment technology for shearographic testing according to DIN 54180-1.
