This European Standard defines various terms relating to the design, construction, primary packaging and testing of fireworks of categories F1, F2 and F3. This document (EN 15947-1:2015) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 212 "Pyrotechnic articles", the secretariat of which is held by NEN (Netherlands). The responsible German committee is NA 062-08-81 AA "Pyrotechnische Gegenstände" ("Pyrotechnic articles") at DIN Standards Committee Materials Testing (NMP).
