Overview
This standard specifies the procedure for wear testing enamelled surfaces using the abrasion wheel method. The resistance of enamel surfaces to sliding friction wear is an essential material property for many fields of application of such surfaces. This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 062-01-63 AA "Prüfung von Emails und Emaillierungen" ("Testing of vitreous and porcelain enamels") at DIN Standards Committee Materials Testing (NMP).
