DIN Standards Committee Materials Testing

Overview

This document contains the German translation of the International Standard ISO 18898:2012, which has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 45 "Rubber and rubber products", Subcommittee SC 2 "Testing and analysis" (secretariat: JISC, Japan). This document specifies procedures for the calibration and verification of durometers of types A, D, AO and AM (see ISO 7619-1), IRHD pocket meters (see ISO 7619-2) and IRHD dead-load instruments (see ISO 48). The responsible national committee is Working Committee NA 062-04-34 AA "Prüfung der physikalischen Eigenschaften von Kautschuk und Elastomeren" ("Test procedures for physical properties of rubber") of the DIN Standards Committee Materials Testing (NMP).
