Overview
This European Standard defines various terms relating to the design, construction, performances, labelling and testing of other pyrotechnic articles as defined by Directive 2007/23/EC on the placing on the market of pyrotechnic articles (except pyrotechnic articles for vehicles, cartridges for powder actuated tools and ignition devices). This document (prEN 16263-1:2012) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 212"Pyrotechnic articles", the secretariat of which is held by NEN (Netherlands). The responsible German committee is NA 062-08-81 AA "Pyrotechnische Gegenstände" ("Pyrotechnic articles") at DIN Standards Committee Materials Testing (NMP).
