Overview
This European Standard describes galvanic anodes for use in seawater and saline mud and provides minimum requirements and recommendations for the physical tolerances, electrochemical properties and test methods for the cast of galvanic anodes made of aluminium, magnesium and zinc-based alloys for cathodic protection. The standard is not directed at quality assurance. This European Standard is applicable for the majority of galvanic anodes suitable for use in seawater and saline mud.
