Overview
This document (EN 589:2008+A1:2012) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 19 "Gaseous and liquid fuels, lubricants and related products of petroleum, synthetic and biological origin", the secretariat of which is held by NEN (Netherlands). The responsible national committee is Working Committee NA 062-06-31 AA "Anforderungen an Flüssiggase" ("Requirements for liquefied gases") at the Petroleum, Fuels, Lubricants and Related Products Standardization Committee (FAM) of the Materials Testing Standards Committee (NMP). This document specifies requirements and test methods for marketed and delivered automotive LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas). The standard is applicable to automotive LPG for use in vehicles designed to run on automotive LPG.
