The standard specifies the requirements against radiation, fire and theft to be met by storage facilities and their installation areas for sealed radioactive materials. This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 062-08-22 AA "Durchstrahlungsprüfung und Strahlenschutz" ("Radiation methods and radiation protection") of the Materials Testing Standards Committee (NMP).
