Overview
This standard specifies methods for taking samples of solid recovered fuels, for example, from production plants, from deliveries or from stock. It includes both manual and mechanical methods. The standard is not applicable to solid recovered fuels that are formed by liquid or sludge, but it includes dewatered sludge. The European Standard has been prepared by CEN/TC 343 "Solid recovered fuels", the secretariat of which is held by SFS (Finland). The responsible German committee is Working Committee NA 062-05-83 AA "Sekundärbrennstoffe" ("Recovered fuels") of NMP.
