Overview
This standard specifies a method for the determination of the compressive strength of advanced monolithic technical ceramics at room temperature. The specified method provides a basis for targeted material development, quality control and for component-specific application and ensures the determination of comparative compressive strength data. The standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 062-02-91 AA "Hochleistungskeramik - Monolithische Werkstoffe" ("Advanced technical ceramics - Monolithic materials") at NMP.
