Abstract
This document specifies the performance, design and testing requirements for gamma radiography radiation equipment with portable, mobile and fixed working containers of different categories. This document is applicable to equipment for the controlled application of emitted gamma radiation by means of a sealed radioactive source for industrial radiography to ensure that persons are protected when such equipment is used in accordance with applicable radiation protection regulations. This document is a partial adoption of ISO 3999:2004 Radiation protection - Apparatus for industrial gamma radiography - Specifications for performance, design and tests.
