The working committee NA 062-01-44 AA, "Impact strength test for metals" comprises the development and maintenance of standards for notched bar impact tests, instrumented notched bar impact tests and drop weight tests with regard to the test procedure, the calibration of the test equipment and the production of reference specimens. The working committee is responsible for mirroring the work in this area of ISO/TC 164/SC 4 and CEN/TC 459/SC 1.
