Overview
This European Standard specifies the characteristics of straight welded coupling in nickel alloy for swivel flange couplings for inch series aerospace applications. Nominal pressure: The parts shall withstand nominal pressures given in Table 1. The nominal pressure of the assembly depends on associated seal, tube material characteristics, tube diameter and tube wall thickness (see EN 4814). Assembly in accordance with TR 4815. The EN 4806 standard has been prepared by the standardization organization ASD-STAN of the AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD) with the participation of German experts at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL). The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-03-02 AA "Fluidische Systeme und Komponenten" ("Fluidic systems and components") at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL).
