Overview
This European Standard specifies the characteristics of self-locking, air resistant, sealing, floating, two lug anchor nuts, with counterbore, in corrosion resisting steel, passivated, MoS2 lubricated. Classification: 900 MPa / 235 °C). The EN 2879 standard has been prepared by the standardization organization ASD-STAN of the AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD), with the participation of German experts from DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL). The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-03-01 AA "Verbindungselemente (Spiegelausschuss zu ISO/TC 20/SC 4" ("Aerospace fasteners (mirror committee to ISO/TC 20/SC 4)") at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL).
