DIN EN 3475-307
Aerospace series - Cables, electrical, aircraft use - Test methods - Part 307: Corona extinction voltage; German and English version EN 3475-307:2015
Luft- und Raumfahrt - Elektrische Leitungen für Luftfahrtverwendung - Prüfverfahren - Teil 307: Corona-Aussetzspannung; Deutsche und Englische Fassung EN 3475-307:2015
Overview
The standards of the EN 3475 standard series describe test methods for electrical cables for aircraft use. Part 307 defines methods to cover the detection and measurement of partial discharge (corona) under an applied test voltage, including the determination of partial discharges (corona) inception and extinction voltages as the test voltage is raised and lowered, of electrical cables for aircraft use. It shall be used together with EN 3475-100. This standard differs from the previous edition DIN EN 3475-307:2011-06 as follows: a) the introduction has been revised; b) in 3.1 "continuously" has been concretized; c) preparation of the specimen in 6.3.2 is described in more detail; d) procedure C and thus the previous Subclause 6.4 has been eliminated, references to procedure C in the document have been deleted. The present standard of the EN 3475 series has been prepared by the ASD-STAN, Technical Section Electrotechnology, with the participation of German experts from DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL). AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe - Standardization (ASD-STAN) has been declared responsible by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) for preparing European Standards (EN) for the field of aerospace. The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-04-02 AA "Elektrische Leitungen" ("Electric cables") at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL).
