Overview
The standards of the EN 3155 series describe electrical contacts for use in aerospace connectors. Part 081 defines the requirements and tests for female electrical contacts, size 081, type A, crimp, class T, for use in connectors according to EN 3155-002. The contacts defined in this document are designed for connectors according to EN 2997 with high pole density. It shall be used together with EN 3155-001. The associated male contacts are defined in EN 3155-080. The standards of the EN 3155 series are prepared by the ASD-STAN, Technical Section Electrotechnology, with the participation of German experts from DIN Aerospace Standards Committee. AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe - Standardization (ASD-STAN) has been declared responsible by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) for preparing European Standards (EN) for the aerospace sector. The responsible German standardization body is Working Committee NA 131-04-03 AA "Electrical Connectors" at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL).
