Overview
The standard DIN 65083 specifies requirements for the heat treatment of castings of titanium and titan alloys and includes hot isostatic pressing. In addition to the general requirements, the conditions during annealing at 650 °C to 840 °C and stress relief heat treatment at 550 °C to 700 °C are specified. DIN 65083 has been prepared at Working Committee NA 131-01-02 AA "Titan" ("Titanium") at the Aerospace Standards Committee (NL) at DIN, the German Institute for Standardization.
