Overview

This standard applies for processes which shall be adhered to during handling and application of coating materials. In order to achieve perfect coatings on aircraft, the required processes, operations, workshop and storage facilities, coating materials and their application conditions are described. This document has been prepared by the Coatings and Coating Materials Standards Committee (NAB), Working Committee NA 002-00-14 AA "Beschichtungsstoffe und Beschichtungen für Luft- und Raumfahrt" ("Coatings and coating materials for aerospace").
