Overview
This standard is a product standard for the field of earthing arrangements. The Committee responsible for this standard is NA 140-00-17-06 UA "Erdungsmaterial" ("Earthing arrangements") of the Electrical Engineering Standards Committee (NE) at DIN. The standard is valid in connection with the generic standard VG 96953-2 for aircraft and ground support equipment electrical connections for static grounding. Grounding plugs and sockets according to this standard are subject to qualification approval in accordance with VG 95211. They meet the requirements of the currently valid edition 5 of NATO standard STANAG 3632. Fuel nozzle grounding plugs and sockets according to this standard are used at ambient temperatures from -55 °C to +85 °C.
