Overview

This standard documents oil and fuel resistant gaskets which are primarily used for fuelling and pipeline equipment of the Bundeswehr (German Armed Forces). Requirements (operating mediums, ambient conditions during storage and transport) are fixed in the document. The conditions are in accordance with STANAG 2831. Within the framework of quality assurance measures, type tests and tests for quality assurance/quality control are fixed, which the manufacturer shall prove with the appropriate certificates.
