This standard specifies the characteristics of hexagon plain nuts, normal height, normal across flats, with left hand thread, in steel, cadmium plated. Classification: 1 100 MPa/235 °C. The standard EN 3227:2010 has been prepared by ASD-STAN, Technical Section Mechanics, with the participation of German experts of the Aerospace Standards Committee. The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-03-01 AA "Verbindungselemente" ("Aerospace fasteners") of the Aerospace Standards Committee at DIN.
