Innovation group of the DIN Standards Committee Aerospace
The committee NA 131 BR-SO 03 "Innovation group of the DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL)" observes current trends, innovations, and future topics in aerospace, analyzes and evaluates them regarding the need for standardization, and initiates suitable measures (trend scouting). Experts of various fields are invited for this purpose to be able to start necessary coordination and technology transfers. The innovation group reports regularly to the NL Steering Committee on the progress of its activities and organizes expert presentations. Measures include: - identifying DIN-relevant innovation topics; - organizing workshops to develop standardization proposals, where possible in cooperation with and/or under the leadership of an existing committee; - bi-directional technical presentations, including invitations to external technical experts and presentations of the NL committees to innovation bodies.
