Overview
This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 051-01-03 AA "Dienstleistungen (Spiegelgremium für CEN/TC 183/WG 1/PWG 8)" ("Services (mirror committee to CEN/TC 183/WG 1/PWG 8)" at DIN Standards Committee Municipal Services (NKT). It applies to waste and recycling logistics. This includes the collection and transport of municipal waste and recyclables as well as commercial waste similar to household waste. The document contains the description of the services with their parameters for the implementation at different service levels and specifies the requirements for vehicles and containers needed for this in terms of process optimization for the professional collection and transport of waste and recyclables. The standard differs from DIN SPEC 1108-3:2009-10 as follows: a) the title of the DIN SPEC has been changed; b) the reference in the text to Part 6 concerning sewer services has been removed; c) the requirements for the description of services (4.2) have been revised.
