DIN Standards Committee Municipal Services

Overview

This part of the EN 12574 series of standards specifies the test methods for stationary waste containers (in the text also called containers) according to EN 12574-1:2017. It also specifies the target requirements to be reached either during or after the tests. This document (EN 12574-2:2017) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 183 "Waste management", the secretariat of which is held by DIN. The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 051-02-01 AA "Abfallentsorgung; Umleerbehälter bis 5 m³ und Abfallsammelschränke (Spiegelgremium für CEN/TC 183/WG 1)" ("Waste management; Containers up to 5 m³ and container shells (mirror committee for CEN/TC 183/WG 1))" at DIN Standards Committee Municipal Services (NKT).
