Roller contact tipper vehicles, roller containers - Part 2: Roller contact tipper vehicles up to 32 t, roller containers type 1570 made from steel
Abrollkipperfahrzeuge, Abrollbehälter - Teil 2: Abrollkipperfahrzeuge bis 32 t, Abrollbehälter System 1570 aus Stahl
Overview
This standard applies to roller contact tipper vehicles up to a maximum total mass of 32 t, interchangeable body equipment and roller containers. The height of the receiving device is 1 570 mm (system 1570). This standard specifies: - requirements (including acceptance) for roller contact tipper vehicles; - requirements for interchangeable body equipment; - requirements for roller containers. Roller contact tipper vehicles consist of interchangeable body equipment and a chassis and are used to transport roller containers. The interchangeable body equipment is used to place roller containers onto roller contact tipper vehicles and to remove and empty them. The roller containers are used to hold materials for transport. The specifications for interchangeable loader equipment and roller containers in this standard ensure the interchangeability of roller containers. The revision of the standard became necessary due to new technical findings on the design space and connection dimensions as a result of the changeover to the EURO 6 exhaust emissions standard for commercial vehicles, aspects of load securing and the new figurative representation of the Annexes. This standard has been prepared by DIN Standards Committee Municipal Services (NKT), Working Committee NA 051-03-01 AA "Abfallentsorgung; Fahrzeuge und Geräte (Spiegelgremium für CEN/TC 183/WG 2)" ("Waste disposal; Vehicles and equipment (Mirror committee to CEN/TC 183/WG 2)") after preparatory work in Working Group NA 051-03-01-01 AK "Revision DIN 30722".
