Requirements and Guidelines for a complete end-to-end mobile forensic investigation chain (MF)

The Workshop will deliver one Workshop Agreement on “Requirements and Guide-lines for complete end-to-end mobile forensic investigation chain” focusing on the processes, specific for mobile forensics and including the following topics: 1. Device seizure 2. Data preservation 3. Data acquisition 4. Data examination and analysis 5. Documentation of all investigation steps 6. Reporting 7. Evaluation and sharing of information with other LEAs In addition to the process-related issues, the above CWA will cover requirements for new curriculum for training of LEA officers, security practitioners and criminal prosecution experts to ensure that the evidence from mobile devices is court-approved across national borders. It is recognized that national laws and good practices applied at LEAs vary not only between different European countries but also within these countries. The Workshop Agreement will therefore be drafted as a collection of building blocks cover-ing different aspects of mobile forensics allowing for adjustments based on national laws and regulations as well as internal rules and codes of conduct. It will allow LEAs from differ-ent countries accommodate their available technical solutions,
