Overview
The standard has been prepared by NA 041-01-45 AA "Wassererwärmer (SpA CEN/TC 164/WG 10)" ("Water heaters (Mirror Committee of CEN/TC 164/WG 10)") at NHRS. It specifies the requirements and test methods for the enamelling of steel tanks (including fittings) and for cathodic corrosion protection on the drinking water side. This standard contains specifications which are not covered by the title and scope of DIN EN 12897 "Water supply - Specification for indirectly heated unvented (closed) storage water heaters" and which can, as a result, be nationally regulated.
