Energy efficiency of buildings - impact of building automation and building management
The scope of the NA 041-05-03 AA focuses mainly on presenting the impact of Building Automation and Control System (BACS) and Technical Building Management (TBM) functions on the energy demand and the contribution to the energy performance of buildings. Therefore the energy management as part of an overall building management system for the coordination of distribution and use of energy in buildings is very important in terms of an energy-efficient building operation. Furthermore the energy management functions and their interaction with other areas of energy use in buildings are an essential part. The NA 041-05-03 AA also actively contributes to the European and International standardization work in the working groups of CEN/TC 247 “Building Automation, Controls and Building Management” and ISO/TC 205 "Building environment design".
