DIN Standards Committee Timber and Furniture

Overview

This European Standard defines terms and specifies requirements and test methods for wood veneer floor coverings with multilayer built up for internal use. Compared to DIN EN 14354:2005-03, a second test method has been added to determine resistance to wear by abrasion. When evaluating abrasion resistance, different methods are specified for printed and non-printed surfaces. The classification requirements for abrasion resistance have been adapted. In addition, requirements for the bonding strength of elements have been included for commercial use in wear classes 32 and 33. DIN committee NA 042-04-30 AA "Laminatböden" ("Laminate floor coverings") is responsible for this standard.
