This European Standard specifies requirements for the safety, strength and durability of office desks. It does not include other office desks for which EN standards or draft standards exist. This document has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 207 "Furniture", the secretariat of which is held by UNI. The responsible German is NA 042-05-19 AA "Anforderungen an Büromöbel, SpA CEN/TC 207/WG 3, ISO/TC 136/WG 1 und WG 2" ("Requirements for office furniture, mirror committee CEN/TC 207/WG 3, ISO/TC 136/WG 1 and WG 2") at DIN Standards Committee Timber and Furniture (NHM).
