Overview
This European Standard establishes a classification system for emulsion polymerized isocyanate (EPI) adhesives for use in load-bearing timber components. Amendment A1 excludes from the scope modified and tempered wood with considerably reduced swelling and shrinkage properties, such as acetylated wood, heat-treated wood and wood impregnated with synthetic resin.
